This state has an incredible amount of coastline and dozens of great destinations. Hot spots include all of Cape Cod (which boasts a north and south shore), Monomy Point, Providence Town, Boston Harbor (still great winter founder and striped bass), Gloucester (strangle pronounced “gloster”), of course two very famous offshore banks. Stellwagen Bank still has some decent cod fishing and can support a very good summer bluefin bite. Further offshore is Georges Bank. Though the bank has suffered from serious habit destruction caused by commercial fishing, there are still some very good codfish spots. The offshore waters support a significant yellowfin tuna and shark bite.
